Rex Orange County made his major label debut on October 25th as he dropped his third studio album Pony via RCA Records. Now the 21-year-old is taking his flowery indie-pop tunes on tour! The first leg kicked off in his homeland on November 12th, opening up with two back-to-back shows at the O2 Academy in Birmingham, England with a 20 song setlist!
The setlist is mostly made up of new songs, gifting fans with five live debuts of Pony cuts! They were: "Laser Lights," "Never Enough," "It Gets Better," and then he ended the set with live debuts of "It's Not the Same Anymore," and "Always" as the encore.
He's performed two shows so far and has already tweaked the setlist a bit. The first night, he covered Alicia Keys' "No One," but the second night he covered Ed Sheeran's "I Don't Care." He also changed up the order, testing out different flows to the set.
While Pony dominates the setlist, Rex still adds in five tracks off Apricot Princess to compliment the set. You'll hear older favorites like "Happiness" as well as "Loving is Easy."
