Killswitch Engage Share their Touring Plans for 2020 and More!

It's been a great 2019 for Killswitch Engage as the metalcore band released their eighth studio album Atonement to critical acclaim, and received the 2020 Best Metal Performance Grammy Award Nomination for their song "Unleashed."

They spent a good part of the year touring, and are just finishing the last stretch in South America and Mexico! The fun will continue into 2020 as they've announced a massive North American Tour for the Spring. Following the headlining tour, they will support Iron Maiden in Australia!

KsE drummer Justin Foley took some time to reflect on his 2019, and share with setlist.fm the band's 2020 plans! See what Foley's favorite KsE 2019 show was, and more, in his answers below!

What was your favorite show that YOU played this year?

"I'd say the first headline show of our recent Europe tour in the UK. We finally had new music to play, with the record Atonement now being released. And it was a relief to see such a great reaction to the new songs, with people singing along and being into the music."

What was your favorite show that you SAW this year?

"We crossed paths with Mastodon at a festival this summer somewhere, and I hadn't seen them in probably years. Not only was it fun to hang out, but they had a great show and were really on fire that night."

What do you have planned for 2020?

"2020 is all about touring. We have a U.S. headline run with August Burns Red in the spring and will have lots more shows to play the rest of the year supporting Atonement."
